Technology

We make use of Virtual Private Networks combined with cloud computing for providing a smooth teleradiology work flow. This system provide advantages like location independence for resource allocation and scalability of the services. The client center can use existing infrastructure and work flow.

Our technical team will study and analyse client center's infrastructure and specifications and work together with the center to set up and maintain the connections and total work flow. Image transfer between your center and our work station is through a secure network. These images can be accessed by our cardiologists/physicians using secure login. The completed reports are uploaded back to the work station which can be downloaded from the client side. Also, the reports can be sent through email.

We regularly update our systems and software and offer specialized software support and trouble shooting. In order to maintain reliability of the system we are running multiple servers.

Currently we use Freedom PACS, MedPac Systems, UltraLinq and Studycost in our teleradiology projects.

Step 1: Setting up upload gateway
For clients with large volume of cases, an upload gateway is installed in the PC connected to the imaging machine.
Step 2: Images are uploaded to PACS
Client center upload radiology image files to our PACS along with clinical history of patients using the upload gateway.
Step 3: Report delivery
Our team of radiolgoists read the studies and reports are prepared. The finalized reports can be downloaded from the PACS.
