How to create KB artical in our Helpdesk portal

How to create knowledgebase Articles in our Soni group Helpdesk portal.

Step:1

Open the Helpdesk admin panel with your user Id & password.

Step: 2

Left side panel you will find Knowledgebase >>>> click on manage.

Step:3

Now you will see our Artical category where you can put your articles.

If you do not find your category, you can create your new category by clicking the New category link.

Step:4

Now click on the Article category where you want to create a new article.

Note: you can create two types of article category

  • Public --- Visible to everyone.
  • Private --- visible to only the employees.

Step:5

Now you can write your own article here. It is an HTML editor where you can format the article as per your need.

On the right-hand side, you will see the types of articles.

  • Published: It will visible to all the customer
  • Private: Visible to only the employee.
  • Draft: It will visible only to you.

Step:6

On the below, you can add screenshot files to generate article links for your articles.

Step:7

Now you can add your screenshot into the attachment & save the article.

Step:8

Now you need to click on the edit button.

Step:9

Now you can create image link by right click on the attached images.

Step:10

You can add images on the top menu click on the insert >> image

Step:11

Here you need to adjust the image height & width as per your need. Click on the save button 

Recommended size: width 600

Step:12

text & image can be formatted as per the process. see the image.

Step:13

The top menus are for formatting the text & images. Now save the article.
